LONDON LAN PARTY

It’s 4 a.m. and most of London, Ontario is asleep – except for a room of nearly 100 gamers furiously clicking mouse buttons and pressing keys, their faces lit up by their computer monitors. On this day, they are heroes in their online worlds and in real life.

Because these gamers are playing for a very important cause –kids’ health.

Each year the Extra Life London Guild is happy to host the London LAN for Extra Life, Presented by Techdoz – London’s largest charity LAN party!

Gamers from across the region will gather in person to participate in a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for Children’s Health Foundation. Funds raised will directly support care-enhancing programs and state-of-the-art equipment at Children’s Hospital, London Health Science Centre.

In addition to playing games, streaming, and raising funds, participants can win prizes every hour of the event – with large grand prizes for those who raise the most.
